The Brookwood Community Center for Learning and Gallery Furniture proudly present Dr. Temple Grandin for a Book Signing, Presentation, and Meet-&-Greet! 

Dr. Temple Grandin, celebrated scientist, bestselling author, and animal welfare advocate will be at The Brookwood Café for a celebration and signing of her new book, Visual Thinking: The Hidden Gifts of People Who Think in Pictures.

Dr. Grandin has been named one of the 100 Most Influential people in the world by Time Magazine, is the author of multiple books on the New York Times’ Bestseller List, has been featured on television programs such as 20/20 and Prime Time, and an HBO movie, Temple Grandin, was made about her remarkable life. A Professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University, Dr. Grandin was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2017 and in 2022 was named a Colorado State University Distinguished Professor.

Join us Wednesday, June 21 at The Brookwood Café located at 1502 FM 1489, Brookshire, Texas 77423.

Event schedule is below:

• 10-11am:  Book signing in the Welcome Center
• 11am-Noon:  Lunch & Presentation by Temple Grandin
• Noon-1pm:  Meet-&-Greet

Registration: 

• $50 (plus tax) includes a delicious lunch at the Brookwood Café.
• Copies of Dr. Grandin's book will be available for purchase on-site.
