Waxed Amaryllis bulbs come with everything they need right inside the bulb — no watering, no fuss, just pure holiday magic.
Simply set them on any tabletop or flat surface, keep them in a well-lit room (but out of direct sunlight), and give them a little turn every few days so they grow nice and straight.
A Little Note About Waxed Bulbs
Waxed Amaryllises are designed as single-season showstoppers. Because the wax seals the bulb, it can’t absorb new water or nutrients — it focuses all its energy on one gorgeous bloom cycle.

How to Rebloom a Waxed Amaryllis
It’s not guaranteed, but if you love a good gardening adventure, here’s how to give it a shot:

Once the blooms fade, gently remove the wax — go slow so you don’t damage the bulb.

Check the bulb: if it still feels nice and firm, trim away any dried roots or stems.

Plant the bulb in soil with the top third exposed, and set it in a bright, warm spot.

Water lightly — keep the soil just slightly moist.

Let leaves grow through spring and summer to help the bulb regain strength.

In late summer or early fall, let it “rest” by stopping watering and placing it in a cool, dark place for 8–10 weeks.

After dormancy, bring it back to warmth and light… and with a little luck, you may enjoy another season of blooms.
